I am a Western artist whose passion is painting animal portraits and animals on the landscape. My preferred medium is oil.

​

My work is characterized by bold brushstrokes and lost and found edges. I love to push a range of colours in my paintings - from soft pastels to bold saturated colours which aren't commonly found in animal portraiture.  These characteristics foster a strong connection between the animal and the viewer.

My work is inspired by a childhood on the family farm on the Canadian prairies. I love painting the things that remind me of home and the best way to grow up. I hope my work connects you to farm life, the prairies and your own cherished memories.

I am blessed to be a wife, and a Mom to two kiddos. I couldn't ask for more.
